Welcome to Surprised by Joy!
My name is Joe and I live near Cleveland, Ohio.
I love people and I have the joy of helping others learn and grow in their professional lives via my role as a corporate trainer for a Texas-based company.
I’m wired to encourage others and I’m intentional about doing so every day. And yet there those times when, to everyone’s surprise, someone says something that brightens the room, lightens the load or makes a positive and noticeable difference in that moment.
I tell their stories here in “Surprised by Joy” in hopes that you, too, will develop an awareness and expectancy for such surprises from those around you AND that you will affirm them when they happen. I would also love for you to tell us about them in the comments section.
